About these numbers
These are model estimates, not race calls. Each figure is a probability or a range from a statistical model, not a projection by a news organization. The model starts from the 2024 presidential result in each district and state, polling in Senate and governor races, and the national environment, then updates as counties and districts report, using what early-reporting areas say about similar places that have not reported yet.
Vote counts come from state election sites and civicAPI and can be late, incomplete or wrong. Mail and provisional ballots counted after election night can move results. The ranges will sometimes be too narrow. The last forecast update time appears at the top. You can pause automatic updates.
Feeds by state
Official is the state's own results site; civicAPI is the Senate and governor county detail (House races come from civicAPI's race search, counted under "Districts"). Votes are summed at the feed's finest level (county, town or precinct) across every race it carries. Amber is expected before a state's polls close; red after.
